It is so important for me to actually understand what you and your business offers.

This DNA of your brand needs to be carried through every element your website, whether a fun and relaxed brand like Pirate Monkey, or more serious business like a law firm. Having founded two companies myself, and been part of a handful of start-ups, my experience in other areas of marketing and brand is a real asset to your business.

Concept

The conceptual phase of your website design is where it starts to get fun.

Concept

Together we will determine what your website will look like and how it needs to function. From this I will begin to mock up (wire framing as it is known in the industry) what your site might look and function like before moving onto the design and build stage. We will have a meeting (online or face to face) to refine and agree the final concept.

Design

At this point I lock myself away in a dark room and begin to code and build your site.

I use industry standards, plugins and tools to make the build as cost efficient as possible. I use WordPress as the standard all my websites – it is a fantastic Content Management System (CMS) for small and medium sized businesses. This means you are able to manage the website yourself, or if you prefer I can continue to manage it for you.

As part of this process, you are in charge of the content.

It’s time to fill the templates. Some clients prefer to write all their own content and supply it for uploading, and others prefer me to write it for them. Based on my understanding of your business, I will research the subject area and write Search Engine Optimised (SEO) content to help move your site up the ranks of Google.

Once I finish building your dream, you can have the keys.

With your new website you have full control over your content and business presence on the web. WordPress is easy to use, so you can make modifications to your pages as you need. I also offer content management at a fixed hourly rate, just send me your ideas or content via email, and I will do the rest.
